ABOUT

Katelyn Odenheimer is a full-time artist based in Shawnee, Colorado. Odenheimer holds a BA in Art History from the University of Colorado Denver and a BFA in Ceramics from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She works primarily in porcelain, exploring human anatomy and the relationship between physiological and psychological states. Intrigued by chance and atmospheric firing, Odenheimer experiments and incorporates non-traditional materials and tools into her practice. She has exhibited in galleries throughout the US, is a member of the Arvada Ceramic Arts Guild, and recently completed a short-term residency at Red Lodge Clay Center in Red Lodge, MT.
